Using SurgiPrep - A Brief Guide (Hospitals) 

There are 3 basic steps: 

1. Registration 

• The hospital registers as an institutional provider. 
• A designated administrator registers patients. 

2. Interviewing 

• Each patient takes a Pre-procedure Interview. 
• The patient gets information about anesthesia, about the procedure, and contact details. 
• The patient attests to viewing information that supports informed consent. 
• A Postoperative Interview can also be offered. 

3. Reporting 

• Reports which summarize the medical history, highlighting risk factors, and suggested preoperative tests, can be viewed and printed 
• The Reports complement and expedite the nursing assessment performed during admission to the hospital or surgery center
